Telenor Norway is on a digitization journey where IT is becoming central to what we offer our customers. We are now looking for a QA Engineer to join our Mitt Telenor team.

Mitt Telenor is one of our most important apps, the main portal to Telenor’s services, used daily by hundreds of thousands of Norwegians. The app is built in React-Native (mainly TypeScript), with native parts in Java/Kotlin (Android) and Objective-C/Swift (iOS). We work in scrum teams, so experience with agile development and DevOps is expected.

Our autonomous, cross-functional teams take ownership of the full process, challenge established practices, and continuously improve. As QA Engineer, you’ll play a key role in design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance, working closely with product owners, designers, developers, and testers both within and across teams.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• As QA Engineer, you will review and test user requirements, assess testability, and build the test methodology for Mitt Telenor, including selecting the right tools.
• Verify implementations and perform regression testing on release candidates.
• Shape your own workday with flexibility in tool selection and a hybrid way of working.

• You are curious about customer needs and always look for ways to enhance services and products.
• You are a team player who enjoys working with skilled colleagues — designers, architects, and developers — to deliver a high-quality product.

Wanted qualifications:

• 2–5 years of relevant education (experience and skills can compensate for formal education)
• 2–7 years of relevant work experience
• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, techniques, and tools
• Experience with test automation is an advantage
• Familiarity with ISTQB is a plus
• Understanding Norwegian is beneficial, but not required
